Admitted

Mikaela is being admitted to the hospital. She has a raging kidney infection. It is possible she also has kidney stones or something worse.

I am scared to death. Pray! Please!

End of the first day

Alexander's first day of Kindergarten was today. He says he had a great time. He was a little disappointed though. It seems that they don't get recess or a meal. He is bummed. He was looking forward to bringing his lunch box and playing tag.

Worth it.

These are the moments that make parenting so very worth it. I wouldn't trade it for all the gold in the world!

Today Owen...

Took us all out to westport to go crabbing. When the wind pulled Mikaela's handknit hat off her head, Owen jumped in to save it. It is only about 60 degrees fahrenheit today, plus it is overcast.

When asked why he would jump into yucky cold Marina water to save a hat he reponded with " do you know how much my daughter loves that hat and how much love my wife knit into every stitch? You have to understand that to understand why I jumped in."
